I grew up in a large, loving Christian home in Southern California. After my formal education at Cal State University, Northridge, I taught elementary school and after starting my own family, I then became a professional photographer. My professional work over the past fifteen years has been in publications such as the Los Angeles Times, Disney Magazine, and many dance magazines. As my daughter and son’s participation in youth and prep sports increased, my passion for the art of sports photography grew. While shooting on hundreds of fields of play, my camera lens allows me the unique opportunity to focus in on the beauty and purity of the Lord shining through the eyes of so many of His children. They truly embody the beauty of the Spirit of Play! My mission became clear: I would offer to the young athlete, and those involved in youth sports, products and religious resources that would encourage them to choose Jesus Christ as their first round draft pick for coach, teammate and fan.

The publication of the Spirit of Play gift book series was one idea to incorporate my mission with a sports product. I have also created other fine Christian gifts, a greeting card line, posters, athletic arm bands and trading cards with the same goal: to give the glory that comes with athletic success to God and his Son Jesus Christ. Christian Sports Zone will grow as I team up with more Christians with similar passions and products for the sports enthusiast that will bring glory to God.

A portion of all sales are given annually to non-profit Christian foundations.
